Question:  How many bags are allowed to be carry-on and checked?
Answer:   Passengers are allowed one carry-on and one personal item in the airplane cabin.  Checked baggage may vary by airline.  Please contact your airline for this information.

Question:  What items are allowed in carry-on bags?  What items are allowed in checked baggage?
Answer:   Visit www.tsa.gov/public for the most up-to-date information about permitted and prohibited items.
 
Question:   What do I do if I need help with my luggage?
Answer:
   Many airlines offer Skycap check-in curbside and in baggage claim.  In addition, luggage carts are available for rent. Luggage rental carts are located on all concourses, baggage claim/lower level, the sky bridge, the upper drive, and car Rental Island.

Question:   Where can I store my luggage at the Indianapolis International Airport?
Answer:   Due to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) heightened security requirements, all lockers and storage have been suspended.  It may be possible to check in early with your airline, please see the ticket agent when you arrive or call ahead to make special arrangements.

Question:   Can I take my film or x-rays through the security checkpoint?
Answer:   Film or x-rays should not be put through the x-ray/screening machines. You may request a hand search from the security agent at the check point.  For more information, please visit www.tsa.gov.

Question:   The Web site and FAQ do not answer the question that I have.  What do I do?
Answer:   Go to “Contact Us” on the main menu.  Complete and submit your information request to the Communications and Marketing department for answers to the questions you may have or, at the very least, referrals to the appropriate agency which can answer your question.
